The Fiat "MEFISTOFELE" is a unique racing car created by Ernest A.D. Eldridge in 1923 by combining a Fiat racing car chassis and a Fiat A.12 aircraft engine. The name comes from the demon of the same name and alludes to the infernal noise emitted by the free-exhaust engine.
